Happy Sunday everyone!
Please remember that fencing will resume this week. We will be going back to meeting twice a week, as many students now have equipment and we will be taking some new students into the club. My hope is that some of my more veteran students will show an interest in working with the newer students. If you are interested in bringing snack, please follow the link below to our SignupGenius. Please have enough snack for 22 students.

Happy New Year!
I am so excited to see everyone and begin our second semester of fencing! Before we start back up, I wanted to make just a few announcements about when we will begin and the state of the club as of now. Fencing will resume the week of January 16. I had originally planned to resume next week, but after meeting with Coach Lesley, it seems that it would be best for us to wait. The floors were refinished in the MPR and we no longer have a strip. I will have to order some supplies to get us ready to go again. In addition, I will be taking in some new fencers and would like to have the extra time in order to contact families and collect paperwork. This is an opportunity for our more advanced fencers to help out by giving lessons. I am hoping this will work well considering their Montessori backgrounds. I will be posting a form to sign up for snack days and updating the calendar within the next day, please keep an eye out and check the website by the end of the day tomorrow. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. |
