With the end of the year approaching quickly along with everything it brings (testing, school meetings, conferences, etc.), we will have to have our final meeting this Tuesday, March 28. Most of you know this already, and I have let the fencers know, but I wanted to post a reminder. After having met with Ms. Tanya, the school schedule is so hectic that if we were to push for more meetings, they would just be too sporadic.
This Tuesday, you are all invited to come in around 4pm to watch the students fence. We will hold a mock tournament to finish out the year. If you are able to attend, you should be able to enter the building through Pryme Tyme, at the multipurpose room. Although we are finishing out the year, I hope you will all try to find time to meet up with each other so your children can continue to fence outside of school. They know all of the safety regarding fencing and I feel that they would be fine to meet up outside of school. In addition, I will try to find some tournaments going on in the area over the summer that anyone interested could go watch. I think it would be a great opportunity for your children to see a real tournament, and I will be more than happy to meet a group of you at one. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email.
