Good afternoon fencers and parents! Just a heads up that when students come to room 6 tomorrow afternoon for fencing practice, we will be discussing the Ellis Fencing Code of Conduct. In order for your child to participate, they must sign the Code of Conduct. This represents a contract between the fencer, coach, and parent to adhere to general rules that must be observed for the safety of the fencers. In addition, I will be sending home a couple other forms this week that I will need to have signed, including a liability waver and medical release form (both of which are standard for any school sport and are the same forms Coach Lesley uses). Attached to this post is the Code of Conduct. If you have time, please review this with your child. We will also go over it in more detail tomorrow. Lastly, please remember that it is extremely likely we will have to break the group up into classes. I do not know how many students plan on attending tomorrow, so I will have more information during pick up at 5pm.
